The Teton County Planning Division will soon have new hours of availability for walk-in meetings with the Planner of the Day.
Beginning March 2, 2020 hours of walk-in availability for the Planner of the Day will shift from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. to Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The public will still be able to communicate with the Planner of the Day by phone and email Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“We decided to make this slight adjustment in hours of availability for walk-ins to give back hours to associate planning staff, who are very busy reviewing and preparing reports for Board level decisions,” said Planning and Building Services Director Chris Neubecker. “The adjusted hours still provide adequate customer service, while giving staff more opportunity support county departments, make on-site visits for inspections, and be present at important meetings so they can complete their work in a quality and timely manner.”
Members of the public will not be turned away during a transitional period throughout the month of March. After the break-in period, if members of the public cannot find time to meet with the Planner of the Day during the new set hours, they can schedule an appointment in advance, so long as it does not exceed one hour.
The Planner of the Day duty is rotated weekly between the associate planners, who can answer questions individuals might have concerning projects and/or applications.
The Planner of the Day can be reached by phone at 307-733-3959 and by e-mail at email@example.com. For more information about the Planning Division, please visit http://tetoncountywy.gov/559/Planning-Division
